Legends of the Underground

Legends of the Underground is a multimedia project by a group of underground artists. They represent a story about the fight between the good angel Sonnet and his devil like opposite Kogorg. Stake for this fight is the power over the earth. Fantasy meets reality in a comicbook like story that is represented by music, dance en 3D animations. Dancers from the hip hop, ballet, jazz en broken beat backgrounds tell the story in flashy movements.
Hip hop, break dance, jazz, capoeira -and specially mixes of all these forms - become more and more popular. Dance forms that until recently belonged to the streets become more and more professional very quickly and put the youngest generation choreographers on to a new sort of performances.

At the Julidans Festival at Paradiso was a showcase from this modern Urban Dance .
