Field of interest: changes in body representation that take place after amputation of a lower limb.

  • How is the system reacting to the absence of normal somatosensory feedback and what type of information is used as an alternative input source?
  • How does the dependency on alternative input changes across time?
  • What is the relationship between the mechanical characteristics of the prosthesis and the above mentioned adaptation processes?
  • How do cognitive processes interact with the control of a prosthesis?
