What authoring and validation systems are used?

At the modeling stage, physical systems are modeled as a set of equations. Those relate to geometry, contacts between it and the rest of the world, the accuracy needed, the trade off against efficiency of the calculations and the simulation engine speed.

We are experienced in modeling physical systems, rigid-body dynamics, collision detection and physics-based collision response. We are familiar with MathEngine's software, Adams, Symbolic Dynamics package and other software.

MOTEK Authoring platforms are compatible with MultiGen-Paradigm's Creator and Vega, Alias WaveFront's MAYA and other authoring tools.

MOTEK interactive viewers use OpenGL, IRIS Performer and Alchemy.
