What is a "Reactive Environment"?

A reactive environment is an environment where the operator/user balance and motor control reactions are directly responsible for the change in the simulation conditions.

For example when a person needs to function in an unstable environment, where maintaining balance is critical for the good result, he or she can practise balance control in a reactive environment.
